POSITION SUMMARY

This role reports directly to the Trim and Packaging Manager and encompasses all outlined responsibilities. The Cannabis Processing and Packaging Specialist will be engaged in the processing, packaging, and pre-rolling of all post-harvest plant materials to ensure they are appropriately prepared for either packaging or extraction.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Operate all processing and packaging machinery.
  • Sanitize all harvesting tools, including twisters, grinders, carts, trays, totes, and sealers.
  • Manage the operation of all harvesting equipment.
  • Ensure proper handling during the transfer of products between different areas.
  • Accurately record and document data from all daily operations.
  • Enhance workflow efficiency and productivity.
  • Maintain consistent curing and processing standards.
  • Coordinate with cultivation teams to harvest mature plants promptly.
  • Uphold a clean working environment in all designated areas.
  • Ensure the use of appropriate personal protective equipment.
  • Foster transparent communication with all team members.
  • Perform cutting, de-leafing/trimming, and shucking (both dry and wet) of cannabis plants.
  • Adhere to regulatory standards established by the Cannabis Control Commission and local authorities.
  • Comply with requirements for CCC Agent Card renewal, annual CORI checks, and annual RVT training.
  • Fulfill any additional duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in the cannabis industry is preferred.
  • Strong time-management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and challenging environment.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks effectively.
  • Must successfully complete all required pre-employment screenings.
  • Must comply with all legal and company regulations.
  • Must be eligible to obtain an Agent badge.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Availability to work 40 hours within a 7-day week.
  • Ability to commute or relocate as necessary.
  • Flexibility to adjust work schedules based on production demands.
  • Ability to sit, stand, and kneel for extended periods.
  • Capacity to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must comply with company policies and state/local regulations.
