Trusted Resource Associates (TRA) is currently in search of a travel Sonography Specialist for an exciting opportunity.

Position Overview & Requirements
  • Specialty: Sonography Specialist

  • Shift: 8 hours, daytime
  • Employment Type: Travel

The TRA Sonography Specialist is responsible for conducting a variety of General Ultrasound Imaging examinations while adhering to established protocols. This role includes the accurate processing of images, calibration and operation of ultrasound machinery, and assisting Radiologists during procedures. Additionally, the specialist will perform quality control on equipment, manage patient transport, and ensure proper setup and sanitation of examination rooms. Availability for on-call duties may be required, along with other assigned responsibilities.

Qualifications

Minimum Education: Graduate from an accredited diagnostic sonography program.

Preferred Education: Associate's Degree.

Minimum Experience: 2 years in the role of Ultrasound Technician.

Required Certifications / Licenses:

  • State License (if applicable)
  • American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Sonography
  • CPR-Basic Life Support – American Heart Association
