Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervision and Leadership: Lead and manage the engineering team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Maintenance Management: Oversee the preventive maintenance program for all hotel systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards, including local building codes and health regulations.
  • Budget Management: Assist in the preparation and management of the engineering budget, controlling costs and identifying areas for efficiency improvements.
  • Emergency Response: Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues effectively.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facility Management, or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in facility maintenance, with supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems and maintenance practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Working Conditions:

  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.
  • Work is primarily indoors, with exposure to mechanical systems and equipment.
