Job Summary:

Universal Engineering Sciences is seeking a highly skilled Field Technician to join our team. As a Field Technician, you will be responsible for conducting field tests and inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct field tests and inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and company policies

Operate testing equipment and maintain it as required by the company and/or manufacturer's policy

Communicate with the dispatching team and/or field supervisor to advise of current job status and locations

Prepare testing reports using Field Data Collection (FDC) software

Must be willing to travel within the state of Florida, if applicable

Requirements:

Valid Florida Driver's License with an acceptable driving record

Ability to pass a background check screening in accordance with Florida's Jessica Lunsford Act

Ability to read and write, including interpreting documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

Computer skills sufficient to operate a laptop, including sending and receiving emails, and the ability to learn Field Data Collection (FDC)/Inspector Gadget to input data and prepare reports

Preferred Qualifications:

High School Diploma, GED or equivalent

ACI Level I Certification

Earthworks Construction Inspection Certification - Level I and II

Construction and/or engineering experience
