About the Role:
The Healthcare Billing Claims Escalation Specialist will be responsible for:
- Managing and resolving complex insurance claim issues, including unpaid and rejected claims.
- Managing appeals for denied claims, ensuring claims are reviewed, corrected, and resubmitted.
- Handling complex escalations within the claims team, working closely with payers and internal stakeholders.
- Contributing to assigned payer projects and escalating claim issues as necessary.
- Applying extensive knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 to review claims and ensure compliance.
Requirements:
- 5-7 years of hands-on experience in medical billing and claims resolution.
- Familiarity with CPT and ICD-10 codes and experience in a healthcare setting.
- Experience handling complex denials and appeals.
- Strong PC and billing application skills.
- Proven ability to manage a high workload with speed and accuracy.
