About the Role:

The Healthcare Billing Claims Escalation Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Managing and resolving complex insurance claim issues, including unpaid and rejected claims.
  • Managing appeals for denied claims, ensuring claims are reviewed, corrected, and resubmitted.
  • Handling complex escalations within the claims team, working closely with payers and internal stakeholders.
  • Contributing to assigned payer projects and escalating claim issues as necessary.
  • Applying extensive knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 to review claims and ensure compliance.

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of hands-on experience in medical billing and claims resolution.
  • Familiarity with CPT and ICD-10 codes and experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Experience handling complex denials and appeals.
  • Strong PC and billing application skills.
  • Proven ability to manage a high workload with speed and accuracy.
