Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced EEG Technologist II to join our team at Nationwide Children's Hospital. The successful candidate will have a strong background in electroencephalography and a proven track record of providing high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Perform electroencephalography procedures under general technical supervision
  • Recognize clinically significant events and follow facility policy and procedures regarding critical test results
  • Maintain continuing education requirements for R. EEG T. credential
  • Establish policies and procedures according to established standards of practice
  • Provide direct technical supervision and indirect technical supervision to the EEG Technologist I as required
Requirements
  • Graduation from a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) accredited Electroneurodiagnostic (END) Program, or an Associates degree or higher from an accredited college or university
  • Credential in electroencephalography (R. EEG T.*)
  • Three or more years experience in the performance of EEG procedures in a patient care environment
  • Well-developed PC and Microsoft Windows knowledge
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent walking, sitting, and standing. The position requires the ability to concentrate for long periods of time under stressful conditions and still perform properly and effectively.
