We offer a competitive salary of $122,880 - $228,120 per year, with opportunities for additional income through variable incentives based on performance.

Job Description

The Veterinary Sales Growth Specialist plays a critical role in driving revenue growth and maximizing share of wallet for Covetrus's key veterinary customer accounts. This quota-carrying position leads the ongoing optimization of our key customer relationships, identifying opportunities to improve adoption of existing products and selling singular point solutions when necessary.

This proactive, in-person sales role requires strong relationship-building skills and the ability to predict and proactively serve customer needs. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of consistently exceeding sales quotas and delivering on objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as the key sales contact to optimize and support accounts, focusing on overall relationship growth and long-term customer relationships to meet company financial targets.
  • Leads the sales organization in achieving and exceeding revenue and gross profit goals through customer relationship nurturing.
  • Predicts customer needs, pain points, and opportunities to proactively generate potential business growth and adoption within the sales segment.
  • Collaborates closely with colleagues to assess, communicate, and pursue business opportunities, ensuring seamless transitions and a positive customer experience.
  • Acts as a primary customer liaison for the implementation and onboarding processes, ensuring effective communication and issue resolution.
  • Creates internal reports to optimize customer utilization, identify growth opportunities, and guide sales team efforts.
  • Manages and maintains critical data and customer updates within CRM systems to effectively track and support the sales process and customer relationships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Communications, or a related field required, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in sales, account management, or similar roles within the veterinary or healthcare industry.
  • Proven history of consistently exceeding sales quotas and delivering on objectives assigned by management.
  • Previous experience serving as a mentor or coach, guiding new hires or teammates to improve performance.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a matrix organization and effectively pull through business.
  • Ability to predict and proactively serve customer needs/objectives with differentiated offers and solutions that Covetrus can deliver.
