You will work closely with our healthcare team to ensure accurate and efficient blood collection, processing, and testing. Your attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be essential in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect blood samples from patients in various locations
  • Use EMR/LIS systems to create registrations, transcribe/scan orders, and release and accession orders
  • Identify patients and label specimens appropriately
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare providers to ensure accurate and efficient blood collection and testing
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent and phlebotomy experience or graduation from an approved Phlebotomy program
  • Typing, computer skills, and interpersonal skills
  • Reliable means of transportation and a NYS driver's license
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Phlebotomy experience
  • Basic understanding of medical laboratory technology and medical terminology
Work Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, with occasional weekends and holidays as needed
