Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
• Must be a Certified Peer Specialist or have provisional certification through NY York Peer Specialists (NYCPS) or The New York Peer Specialist Certification Board (NYPSCB).
• Must have an understanding of recovery concepts and person-centered approaches, with experience in implementing them in their own recovery.

Work Environment and Hazards:

This role will be based in a clinical and rehabilitation setting, with potential exposure to blood, body fluids, excretions, or secretions. The ideal candidate will be able to lift, bend, stoop, push, and pull, with medium work requirements.
