Job Summary

The Assistant Miller is a critical role in the milling process at Panhandle Milling. This position requires a strong understanding of safety protocols, quality control, and efficient operation of equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures, including GMP, HACCP, and Sanitation protocols.
  • Operate transferring equipment and systems safely and efficiently.
  • Sample and analyze milled flour to meet customer specifications.
  • Perform lab analyses and operate analytical instruments.
  • Assist with lockout, open, unstack, repair, and restack sifters.
Requirements
  • Strong reading comprehension, writing, math, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and process control.
  • Ability to wear required PPE and work in elevated heights, confined spaces, and extreme climates.
