Assistant Miller

The Assistant Miller is a critical role in the milling process at Panhandle Milling. This position requires a strong understanding of safety protocols, quality control, and efficient operation of equipment.

• Understand and follow all safety policies and procedures, including GMP, HACCP, and Sanitation protocols.
• Operate transferring equipment and systems safely and efficiently.
• Sample and analyze milled flour to ensure quality standards are met.
• Perform lab analyses and operate analytical instruments.
• Wear personal protective equipment as required.

• Strong reading comprehension, writing, math, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and process control.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including rotating shifts.

This role requires working in a fast-paced environment with exposure to elements such as noise, dust, and varying temperatures. The Assistant Miller will be required to climb ladders, work in confined spaces, and perform physical tasks.
