Job Description:

Fidelity Investments is seeking a highly skilled Principal Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying complex software systems that meet the needs of our customers.

As a Principal Full Stack Software Engineer, you will work closely with our technical lead to architect and design pilots and new products. You will be responsible for leading a small team of developers in a fast-paced and highly ambiguous environment, working with emerging technologies, high risks, and uncertainty.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, with a proven track record of designing and building complex end-to-end systems. You will be comfortable working with a variety of programming languages, frameworks, operating systems, and platforms, and will have experience with Agile methodologies.

You will be responsible for providing technical leadership to all team members, escalating issues and risks to executive management for timely resolution, and mentoring junior team members. You will also be responsible for staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the industry, and for applying this knowledge to improve our software development processes and products.

We are looking for a highly motivated and self-directed individual who is able to work independently and as part of a team. You will be responsible for communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and for providing clear and concise documentation of your work.

The successful candidate will have a strong passion for programming, and will be able to learn new technologies quickly. You will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and will be able to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
