Position Overview:
This role is essential for driving the success of our retail operations. As a Customer Service Associate, you will work closely with both wholesale and retail customers to understand their needs, respond to inquiries about Sherwin-Williams products, and offer appropriate suggestions. Your responsibilities will include resolving customer issues promptly, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction, staying knowledgeable about product details, and maintaining visual standards for products and the store.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional sales service to ensure high customer satisfaction
  • Assist customers both in-person and via phone by identifying their needs and recommending suitable products and services
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with wholesale and retail clients
  • Process sales transactions accurately following company policies
  • Aim to meet sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
  • Keep accurate records of work orders and formulations
  • Select appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse
  • Tint and blend products as needed to meet customer specifications
  • Organize shelves and create attractive product displays
  • Maintain and service store equipment
  • Assist with loading and unloading delivery trucks
  • Support delivery efforts when necessary
  • Ensure assigned areas are well-stocked and visually appealing
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of available products and discuss options with customers
  • Follow inventory control procedures
  • Provide feedback on potential sales improvements
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years old
  • Must have legal authorization to work without requiring sponsorship
  • Ability to lift materials frequently up to 50 lbs. and occasionally up to 70 lbs., with or without accommodation
  • Willingness to work designated hours, including evenings and weekends, with or without accommodation
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Valid Driver's License
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in delivery, retail, or customer service
  • Experience in selling paint and related products
  • Familiarity with tinting and mixing equipment
  • Ability to communicate in multiple languages
  • Proficiency in Spanish is a plus
