$18 - $25 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and perform efficient repairs on various machinery and vehicles.
- Disassemble and reassemble equipment utilizing tools such as hoists, jacks, and hand tools.
- Drive company vehicles to procure parts and supplies, as well as conduct field service tasks.
- Ensure maintenance of equipment, trucks, and shop facilities across the organization.
- Conduct routine services including oil changes, greasing, fluid additions, and filter replacements while adhering to preventative maintenance schedules.
- Diagnose and repair electrical and hydraulic systems, as well as diesel and gasoline engines, transmissions, and drive trains.
- Utilize multimeters and power probes for troubleshooting and diagnosing 12v/24v systems.
- Operate machinery to test repairs and identify issues.
- Compile parts lists necessary for completing repairs.
- Maintain a tidy and organized workspace.
- Operate forklifts for moving heavy items as required.
- May operate heavy equipment and trucks for testing purposes, contingent on training.
- Inspect components for damage and excessive wear, fabricating and repairing parts as needed.
- Perform welding tasks if trained.
- Maintain certifications for Forklift and Crane operation.
Experience Requirements:
A qualified Service Technician should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience or training. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential for developing effective solutions to complex maintenance challenges.
In-depth knowledge of small engines, diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and heavy machinery is required. The ideal candidate should be organized, capable of working independently, and able to collaborate effectively with team members.
