Plant Mechanic

Buckskin Mining Company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Plant Mechanic to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on processing plant and conveyor systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, lube, and air systems.
- Perform general and preventative maintenance, including inspection, replacement of conveyor rollers, idlers, wear parts, filters, and wash down.
- Perform weld repairs and metal fabrication as needed on various plant conveyor, chute, and crusher systems.
- Ability to read blueprints and fabricate based on the blueprints.
- Ability to run support equipment such as forklift, front end loader, overhead cranes, backhoe, and telehandler.
- Work alongside contractors on major rebuilds.
- Write work orders and order appropriate parts using basic computer skills.
- Ability to perform work in a safe manner with minimal supervision, while following best practices and in accordance with company policies.
- Able to meet all physical requirements.
- Must have all required tools.
- Expected to climb and work at heights and in confined spaces.
- Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Able to work rotating shift work, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required by the workload, and some overtime.
