We are seeking a highly skilled DC Power Technician to join our team at Allstates Consulting Services. As a DC Power Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting DC power systems, including battery and power systems.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct site visits to assess customer needs and devise effective solutions.
- Develop comprehensive knowledge of various product lines, and understand their features, and capabilities.
- Install a diverse range of battery and power systems, encompassing both small and large-scale models.
- Manage the upkeep of existing systems.
- Proficiently troubleshoot battery systems and chargers.
- Flexibility for some travel as part of the position.
- Education: High school diploma or GED.
- Driver's License: A valid driver's license with the ability to obtain a CDL.
- Experience: DC Power Plant experience is a plus.
- Technical Knowledge: Knowledge of battery testing equipment and familiarity with safety policies and procedures is a plus.
- Mechanical Skills: Basic mechanical skills are required.
- Physical Capability: Ability to lift 70+ pounds.
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Technical Understanding: Ability to read and understand basic layout drawings and schematics is a plus.
