Electrical Systems Engineer Position

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Engineer to join our team at Astrix Technology. This is a great opportunity to work directly with an innovative company who values a diverse work culture.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, equipment integration, and design, with experience in low and medium voltage systems, transformers, rectifiers, and utility-scale systems. Proficiency in low and medium voltage systems, direct current, transformer design/function, and related instrumentation is a must.

Responsibilities will include incorporating practices into the R&D environment, integrating existing PLCs and DCS(s) systems, interacting with a team of operators, and coordinating experimentation with scientists and engineers across different functions. The successful candidate will also act as an electrical systems engineering subject matter expert while engaging with internal and external vendors and stakeholders.

Requirements include a BS in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years industrial and/or equipment design experience. Related fields would be solar or wind energy, high-temperature processes, resistive heating.
