Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a strategic communications plan that aligns with our organizational goals and objectives
  • Manage and maintain our website, social media presence, and other digital platforms to ensure consistency and accuracy of our messaging
  • Collaborate with our leadership team to develop and implement a content calendar that showcases our expertise and thought leadership in the field of public health
  • Develop and disseminate a range of communications materials, including press releases, media alerts, and social media posts
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including media outlets, community partners, and other organizations
  • Provide support and guidance to our team members on communications-related matters
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, journalism, or a related field
  • 7-10 years of professional experience in communications, with a focus on public health
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful communications strategies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
