Quality Auditor Job Description

US Farathane is seeking an experienced Quality Auditor to support our Quality System on 3rd shift. This role is responsible for auditing in-process product, completing associated documentation, and assisting with other quality department tasks based on customer demand.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform in-process inspections to ensure product compliance with customer requirements.
  • Maintain variable charts and monitor data received from sub-contractors for compliance to specifications.
  • Assist in sort operations and perform receiving inspections and dock auditing as needed.
  • Follow all internal and OSHA required safety procedures.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including quality manual, associate handbooks, and level II procedures.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent, or three to six months related experience and/or training.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, including safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Good organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to perform simple math and apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed instructions.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of quality systems and standards.
  • Knowledge of inspection techniques and simple measurement instrument usage.
Working Conditions:

The work environment is dynamic, with frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts and occasional extreme heat and vibration. The noise level is moderate, and the employee may be required to work outside for short periods.
