Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Geotechnical Staff Engineer to join our team at ENGEO. As a Geotechnical Staff Engineer, you will be responsible for performing site-specific seismic hazard and ground-response analysis, designing earth-retaining structures, and developing geotechnical recommendations for construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform site-specific seismic hazard and ground-response analysis.
  • Design earth-retaining structures, slope stabilization, remedial grading, landslide mitigation, and foundations.
  • Develop geotechnical recommendations, plans, and specifications for construction projects.
  • Support field activities, including exploratory logging and observation of deep foundation construction.
  • Complete field, analytical, and project administrative tasks with direction and support from peers and leadership.
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of professional or relevant internship/field experience.
  • E.I.T. certification.
  • Sound knowledge of civil engineering fundamentals and soil mechanics.
  • Team player with problem-solving skills and a fast-paced environment.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and positive attitude.
  • Desire to continually learn and grow.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Education

Bachelor's Degree - Required; M.S. degree or Ph.D. in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering - Preferred.
