At Next Move Healthcare, we're seeking a skilled Multimodality Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our imaging department, you'll be responsible for performing high-quality imaging procedures across multiple modalities, ensuring safety, accuracy, and patient comfort.

Job Overview

This role involves preparing patients, operating diagnostic imaging equipment, and maintaining accurate documentation. You'll work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to deliver excellent patient care.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, ensuring effective interactions with patients using AIDET techniques. You'll also be responsible for properly positioning patients and adjusting equipment for accurate imaging results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform multimodality imaging procedures per protocol in a timely manner, adhering to quality and safety standards.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures and ensuring patient comfort.
  • Maintain equipment and workspaces, ensuring cleanliness and operational standards.
  • Document procedures, maintain medical imaging records, and report any issues to the appropriate department.
  • Follow safety protocols, including infection control and radiation protection.
Qualifications
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Imaging Program.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in multimodality imaging preferred.
  • Certification:
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or within 30 days of hire).
  • Must be licensed as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) in Texas.
  • Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) in two imaging modalities.
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $33 - $48 per hour, commensurate with experience.
