As a key member of the diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality multimodality procedures, ensuring timely and accurate results. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
Job SummaryThe Advanced Imaging Specialist will work under the general supervision of a Radiologist, performing imaging procedures in two or more disciplines, with a 50% focus in an advanced discipline such as CT, MR, Nuc Med, or IR. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to maintain production and quality standards, and effective communication with patients and staff.
Responsibilities- Perform high-quality multimodality procedures according to exam protocol and in a timely manner.
- Maintain production and quality of imaging procedures by following established standards and procedures.
- Utilize AIDET when communicating with patients to ensure correct exam is performed on the correct patient and establish rapport.
- Instruct and communicate with patients and their family regarding the test to be performed and assess their ability to tolerate the exam.
- Graduate of an accredited program.
- Less than 1 year of experience.
- Certifications: BLS, Medical Radiologic Tech (MRT), ARRT-Radiography, ARRT-CT Computed Tomography, ARRT-MR Magnetic Resonance Imaging, ARRT-Nuclear Medicine Technologist, RDMS-Abdomen, RDMS-Breast, RVT-Vascular Technology.
The salary for this position is estimated at $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
