Job Overview

At Next Move Healthcare, we're seeking a skilled Imaging Specialist to join our team as an Advanced Modality Technologist.

Responsibilities
  • Perform advanced imaging procedures across multiple modalities, adhering to quality and safety standards.
  • Effectively communicate with patients, explaining procedures and ensuring patient comfort using AIDET techniques.
  • Properly position patients and adjust equipment for accurate imaging results.
  • Maintain equipment and workspaces, ensuring cleanliness and operational standards.
  • Document procedures, maintain medical imaging records, and report any issues to the appropriate department.
  • Follow safety protocols, including infection control and radiation protection.
Requirements
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Imaging Program.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in multimodality imaging preferred.
  • Certification:
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or within 30 days of hire).
  • Must be licensed as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) in Texas.
  • Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) in two imaging modalities. Accepted certifications include ARRT-R, ARRT-CT, ARRT-MR, ARRT-S, RDMS, CNMT, or RVT.
