Job Opportunity: ServiceNow Developer, Mid

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer, Mid to join our team at Booz Allen Hamilton. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software programming applications using ServiceNow low-code or no-code platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop applications using little to no code and leveraging ServiceNow low-code or no-code platforms to create user-friendly solutions for clients.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to automate and accelerate cloud modernization and reduce system maintenance and development costs.
  • Translate client IT needs and future goals into a plan by crafting architectural patterns, design standards, and implementation best practices.
  • Provide software support and maintenance services to ensure the smooth operation of ServiceNow platforms.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software programming applications.
  • 2+ years of experience with ServiceNow low-code or no-code platforms.
  • Experience developing applications using little to no code and leveraging ServiceNow low-code or no-code platforms to create user-friendly solutions for clients.
  • Experience with basic programming languages, technologies, tools, or web development stacks, including JavaScript, Ajax, HTML, or CSS.
  • Experience creating solutions to complex challenges in a collaborative team environment.
  • Knowledge of SOAP and REST Web services.
  • Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with CMDB and Configuration Items (CIs).
  • Experience with Object Oriented Programming, SQL, and NoSQL databases.
  • Experience implementing scripted Web services in ServiceNow, jQuery, Prototype libraries, Java, CMDB, or asset integrations in ServiceNow.
  • Experience with application design concepts and tools, including using UML, ERD, and Flow Diagrams.
  • Experience introducing open-source solutions into ServiceNow via Script Includes or as JS or CSS Includes.
  • Experience with Agile methodology, extreme programming, software engineering, product management, and software products.
  • Experience developing portals.
  • Knowledge of SAML, Active Directory, or LDAP Integrations.
  • ServiceNow Certification.
  • ITILv3 or ITIL4 Foundations Certification.

Salary at Booz Allen Hamilton is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,700.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD).
