The Campus Safety Event Officer is essential in delivering courteous and professional safety services to the university community. Key responsibilities include providing assistance, enforcing regulations, responding to emergencies, and ensuring property security.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct patrols to maintain safety and security during campus events.
  • Respond to emergencies and administer first aid as required.
  • Manage traffic and crowds while effectively enforcing campus regulations.
  • Stay informed about policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
Diversity and Outreach:
  • Engage effectively with diverse groups within the university.
  • Foster an inclusive campus environment through collaboration.
  • Participate in training sessions related to university policies.

The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong communication skills, the ability to multitask, and thrive in a fast-paced setting. Physical fitness and the capability to work independently are crucial.

Preferred qualifications include prior experience in campus safety or a related field, familiarity with relevant laws, and certifications in CPR and first aid.

Basic Requirements:
A high school diploma and a valid driver's license are necessary.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to respond to incidents across the campus, navigate stairs, patrol on foot, and operate a vehicle.
