Unarmed Security Officers

Inner Parish Security Corporation (IPSC) is seeking qualified individuals for a vital security role.

IPSC is on the lookout for security personnel who possess outstanding customer service and security expertise to enhance our esteemed team.

Compensation is set at $15.00 per hour, with weekly payments. Join us today

This position involves indoor responsibilities.
Schedule: 1 pm - 11 pm / Monday - Sunday

We offer both full-time and part-time opportunities. We welcome applications from retirees and veterans. Comprehensive training will be provided to suitable candidates.
While prior experience in law enforcement, military service, or at least one year in security is advantageous, training will be available for the right individuals.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting regular and random patrols across various locations
  • Documenting any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual events
  • Implementing control measures when necessary
  • Utilizing emergency equipment
  • Maintaining records of nightly operations and submitting weekly reports
  • Investigating property breaches

You must fulfill the following criteria:

  • Exceptional customer service and conflict resolution abilities
  • Strong communication skills
  • Professional demeanor
  • Capability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including weekends
  • Reliable transportation
  • Active mobile phone
  • Ability to pass a drug screening

Physical and Mental Job Requirements:
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to respond clearly and promptly in emergencies.
  • Ability to read and interpret written information in diverse situations.
  • Capability to operate a vehicle as required.
  • Ability to detect and identify sounds pertinent to emergencies amidst distracting background noise.
  • Physical capabilities to walk, run, stand, climb, and sit.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. to waist height, if necessary.
  • Good mental health with the capacity to make quick decisions in emergencies.
  • Compliance with state physical and mental requirements for licensing as a Security Guard / Security Officer.
