Job Overview

Goodfellas Pizzeria is seeking a highly skilled and vigilant Security Officer to safeguard our premises and protect our staff and visitors. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment and preventing any potential threats.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surveillance and Patrols: Regularly patrol the premises to maintain order and establish a visible presence.
  • Access Control: Monitor and authorize the entrance of vehicles or individuals into the property.
  • Incident Response: Remove wrongdoers or trespassers from the area and secure all exits, doors, and windows after operations.
  • Surveillance Monitoring: Periodically check surveillance cameras to identify disruptions or unlawful acts.
  • Investigations: Investigate individuals for suspicious activity or possessions and respond to alarms by assessing the situation.
  • Assistance and Detention: Provide assistance to those in need and apprehend and detain perpetrators according to legal protocol before authorities arrive.
  • Reporting: Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Experience: Proven experience as a security officer or guard.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with legal guidelines for area security and public safety.
  • Skills: Excellent surveillance and observation skills, tech-savviness with experience in surveillance systems, and training in First Aid/BLS and self-defense.
  • Certifications: Registered as a security officer and high school diploma required.
