About the Role

Velocity Enterprises is seeking a highly skilled Bicycle Traffic Planning Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our urban planning department, you will play a crucial role in developing innovative concepts and measures for bicycle traffic planning and participation in their implementation and updating.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement traffic engineering designs for bicycle traffic planning, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
  • Design and execute public relations activities, such as campaigns, press releases, and flyers, to promote bicycle-friendly initiatives.
  • Provide technical support in grant applications for bicycle path planning, ensuring successful project implementation.
  • Participate in overall traffic planning discussions, focusing on bicycle path planning and development.
  • Prepare and manage tenders for external planning services, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Create professional presentations, graphics, and plans for stakeholder engagement, including citizen information, parliamentary committees, and internal working groups.
  • Represent work results in parliamentary committees, effectively communicating project outcomes.
Requirements
  • Hold a technical or engineering degree in urban planning, architecture, civil engineering, or traffic engineering, or a degree with relevant study focuses.
  • Proficient in CAD software (Autodesk AutoCAD, WS-Landcad) and GIS software (ArcGIS, Q-GIS, Smallworld), as well as standard software (MS-Office).
