Job Overview

We are looking for a talented and experienced Web Application Engineer to contribute to the development and upkeep of our online platform. This position plays a vital role in ensuring an engaging and user-friendly experience while also creating robust and scalable backend solutions.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Craft and implement front-end designs utilizing HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and contemporary UI frameworks such as React or Angular/Vue.
  • Develop adaptive web pages using Tailwind CSS and apply CSS preprocessors like SASS for enhanced styling.
  • Create scalable backend services leveraging web frameworks including Django and SpringBoot.
  • Engage with relational databases, such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server, to architect and refine data structures.
  • Incorporate automated testing into the development process to guarantee code quality and dependability.
  • Utilize Git for version control and collaborate with colleagues through pull requests and code evaluations.
  • Employ TypeScript and JavaScript to construct resilient and maintainable code.
  • Implement server-side rendering and other advanced functionalities using Remix.
  • Design cross-platform mobile applications with React Native.
  • Enhance website performance and scalability to accommodate high traffic and extensive datasets.
  • Work alongside UI/UX designers to develop user-friendly and visually appealing web applications.
  • Stay informed about the latest industry trends and best practices in web development.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Web Application Engineer or in a comparable role.
  • Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS, Java, JavaScript, and jQuery.
  • Expertise in UI frameworks (React, Angular/Vue) and Tailwind CSS.
  • Experience with CSS preprocessors such as SASS.
  • Familiarity with automated testing tools and frameworks.
  • Solid grasp of TypeScript and modern JavaScript frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with web frameworks like Django and SpringBoot.
  • Knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server) and data structure design.
  • Experience with server-side rendering using Remix.
  • Ability to develop cross-platform applications with React Native.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities.
  • Knowledge of Encompass is advantageous.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies.
  • Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Understanding of SEO best practices and web performance optimization.
