Position Overview:

As a Fitness Class Facilitator, you will lead group exercise sessions tailored to various skill levels. Your role involves providing guidance on the proper use of fitness equipment and evaluating individual fitness levels to create customized workout plans. It is essential to foster an enjoyable and relaxing environment for all participants.

Monitor activities within the fitness facility and respond appropriately to emergencies, ensuring the safety and well-being of guests. Assist injured individuals until professional medical help arrives, and maintain cleanliness and organization of the fitness area and equipment. Report any incidents or unsafe conditions to management and complete necessary safety training and certifications.

Adhere to company policies and maintain a professional appearance while respecting the confidentiality of sensitive information. Welcome all guests in accordance with company standards, addressing their needs with genuine care and appreciation.

Communicate effectively with colleagues and guests, building positive relationships and supporting team objectives. Ensure compliance with quality assurance standards and perform visual inspections of equipment to identify any issues. Physical demands include standing, walking, lifting, and maneuvering objects weighing up to 50 pounds independently, and over 75 pounds with assistance.

Possess the ability to navigate various environments, including confined spaces and uneven surfaces, while performing tasks that require agility and coordination. Some states may have additional licensing or registration requirements for this position. Undertake other reasonable duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
Related Work Experience:
Minimum of 1 year in a similar role
Supervisory Experience:
No supervisory experience required.

The compensation for this role is $14.42 per hour, with potential benefits including a 401(k) plan, paid time off, sick leave, and wellness programs. Eligibility for benefits may vary based on company policies.
