We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary Child Psychiatry Clinic. As a key member of our team, you will provide expert psychological services to patients, including individual and family psychotherapy, school-based psychological assessment, consultation, and psychotherapy. You will also have the opportunity to teach medical students and Psychiatry Residents and Child Psychiatry Fellows, and possibly provide clinical supervision of Psychology Residents. Our ideal candidate will have a doctoral degree in clinical psychology from an APA or CPA accredited program, completion of an internship from an APA accredited program, and at least 1 year of postdoctoral training in a clinical setting. We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 3 years of post-licensure experience in Clinical Psychology, including experience providing individual, family, and group psychotherapy, clinical supervision, and staff consultation. Experience in academic healthcare and strong psychotherapy skills with empirically supported interventions are highly desirable. Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide psychological services to patients in our Child Psychiatry Clinic, including individual and family psychotherapy, school-based psychological assessment, consultation, and psychotherapy.
  • Teach medical students and Psychiatry Residents and Child Psychiatry Fellows.
  • Provide clinical supervision of Psychology Residents.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary organizational initiatives and program evaluation.
Requirements:
  • Doctoral degree in clinical psychology from an APA or CPA accredited program.
  • Completion of an internship from an APA accredited program.
  • At least 1 year of postdoctoral training in a clinical setting.
  • Minimum 3 years of post-licensure experience in Clinical Psychology, including experience providing individual, family, and group psychotherapy, clinical supervision, and staff consultation.
  • Experience in academic healthcare and strong psychotherapy skills with empirically supported interventions are highly desirable.
