THE ROLE AND ITS SIGNIFICANCE

The Senior DevOps Engineer (Hybrid) position provides the opportunity to shape your daily work while collaborating with dedicated professionals. Your contributions will include:

  • Developing robust data frameworks and pipelines to capture, integrate, and centralize information, ensuring accessibility and usability through thorough testing and quality assurance.
  • Implementing monitoring systems and processes to mitigate risks through detailed analysis.
  • Assessing the requirements of diverse customer groups, necessitating a deep understanding of strategic issues relevant to the function.
  • Evaluating existing software applications to pinpoint areas for security enhancement.
  • Installing and configuring new security tools as per organizational standards.
  • Designing SQL and NoSQL data security frameworks that comply with industry standards.
  • Proactively seeking innovative methods to safeguard data across hybrid environments.
  • Employing DevSecOps principles in the security architecture of data storage during software lifecycle management.
  • Working independently on critical, time-sensitive projects with minimal supervision.
  • Addressing complex challenges that emerge during project execution.
  • Utilizing coding or scripting skills to create tailored solutions for workflow issues.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identifying and prioritizing vulnerabilities within organizational systems and networks.
  • Leveraging data analytics to enhance cyber risk management strategies.
  • Conducting vulnerability assessments using various scanning tools and penetration testing methodologies.
  • Overseeing vulnerability remediation processes and mapping ownership responsibilities.
  • Automating the processes of scanning tools and analyzing results for better data management.
  • Tracking and reporting on the status of vulnerability remediation initiatives.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to address identified vulnerabilities.
  • Supporting compliance and auditing efforts to ensure adherence to relevant standards.
  • Designing and managing scalable, resilient systems on cloud platforms.
  • Automating infrastructure provisioning and application deployments through Infrastructure as Code tools.
  • Conducting performance optimization and capacity planning for cloud resources.
  • Implementing comprehensive monitoring and alerting systems to maintain application and infrastructure health.
  • Exhibiting strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Managing multiple tasks effectively while working independently.

QUALIFICATIONS:

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE:

  • A minimum of 2 years in a relevant field.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • 4 years of experience in DevOps practices.
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
