Position Overview: Trusted Concepts, a division of Two Six Technologies, is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer with a robust background in deploying AWS cloud infrastructures within CI/CD frameworks. This position will focus on Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) Mission Capabilities and Systems, where you will design and implement highly reliable, cost-effective solutions that emphasize DevSecOps pipelines and microservices architecture in Kubernetes environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver expert analysis, recommendations, and prototypes tailored to well-architected cloud systems, software modernization, API development, system automation, and SIGINT mission integration and evaluation.
  • Design and automate software for new, migrated, and re-hosted cloud-enabled mission capabilities utilizing CI/CD pipelines deployed on cloud and Kubernetes.
  • Architect and lead efforts to modernize and streamline legacy system components into more efficient cloud solutions, optimizing Kubernetes deployments to minimize costs and meet maintenance needs.
  • Oversee the integration of common software, services, APIs, and applications to maximize automation and enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Evaluate and provide architectural recommendations based on performance requirements, computational resources, and storage needs.
  • Implement best practices for automatic failover, system recovery, and replication challenges.
  • Assess system tuning and execute optimal configurations.
  • Construct secure systems capable of obtaining Authority to Operate (ATO), including familiarity with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process.
  • Recommend and implement effective system monitoring tools.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Senior Cloud Engineering Lead or hands-on Cloud Architect with a focus on implementing well-architected cloud systems, ideally at an enterprise level.
  • Experience leading teams to develop new, migrated, or re-hosted cloud-enabled mission capabilities or optimizing existing systems in cloud environments (AWS or Azure).
  • Ability to articulate findings and recommendations to both colleagues and senior-level clients.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud implementation (AWS Lambda).
  • At least 5 years of enterprise cloud architecture experience, particularly within complex automation systems.
  • 5+ years of CI/CD experience utilizing containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Security+ certification within six months of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Current certifications such as AWS Certified Developer Associate or Solutions Architect - Associate, or Microsoft Certified Azure Developer or Solutions Architect.
  • Knowledge and expertise in applying principles of ICD-503/Risk Management Framework and achieving and maintaining Authority to Operate (ATO).
  • Experience with cloud-based networking infrastructure products, Authentication and Authorization (A&A), Role-Based Access Controls (RBAC), and managing network change requests for system connectivity.

Clearance Requirement: Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
