Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Central Billing Specialist to join our team at Dayton Freight Lines.

As a Central Billing Specialist, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently entering bills of lading into our internal inquiry system.

You will also be responsible for learning and retaining industry terms related to billing, communicating any billing issues to our Service Centers, and performing audits as assigned.

To succeed in this role, you will need exceptional data entry skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong communication skills.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Enter bills of lading into our internal inquiry system with speed and accuracy.
  • Learn and retain industry terms related to billing.
  • Communicate any billing issues to our Service Centers.
  • Perform audits as assigned.
  • Enter proper Hazardous Materials bills as assigned.
  • Requirements:
  • Exceptional data entry skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Fluent in English.
