Gap Inc. Visual Director

The Visual Merchandising Manager at Gap Inc. plays a critical role in driving visual success across the organization. This individual will lead the division in creating and executing global visual directives to achieve compelling in-store presentations. Key responsibilities include physically executing full-scale product presentations, managing sample intake processes, and overseeing team timelines.
This role requires collaboration with the Director of Visual Merchandising to plan and prioritize team workload and projects, as well as leading the team through priority shifts as needed. The Visual Merchandising Manager also works with key cross-functional partners to ensure brand strategies are achieved and participates in all key product milestones for their division.
Key Responsibilities
- 1. Maintain a pulse on current and relevant market and visual merchandising trends.
- a. Partner with Design and Merchandising to ensure products come to life through compelling storytelling in support of brand strategies and appropriate assortment levels across the fleet.
- I. Activate operational leadership efficiency during all store sets and visual communication deliverables, ensuring balanced workloads and timely project completion.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need 5+ years of proven experience in Retail Visual Merchandising, with a deep understanding of fashion and retail trends. You must also possess excellent communication and presentation skills, as well as a passion for innovation, creativity, and delivering results with a standard of excellence.
Earn approximately $105,000 - $135,000 per year, based on your qualifications and location.
