POSITION:
Poolside Beverage Specialist

COMPANY: Interlachen Country Club
JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for managing the bar area, crafting exquisite beverages for club members and guests, while ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the bar space.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. *Prepare and serve beverages as requested, accurately charging member accounts.

2. *Create mixed drinks for servers or serve directly to members and their guests.

3. *Take drink and food orders at the bar and at members' tables when required.

4. *Maintain cleanliness in all bar areas, adhering to strict opening and closing cleaning protocols.

5. *Collect used glassware for cleaning in the kitchen.

6. *Set up the bar at the beginning of each shift, including requisitioning fresh fruit and restocking essential items like napkins, straws, and towels.

7. *Ensure the bar is well-stocked, monitor inventory levels, and promptly report any shortages.
  • Handle club equipment with care to prevent damage.
9. *Conduct daily inventory checks for liquor and beer.

10. *Regularly polish glassware.
  • Maintain a neat appearance and comply with uniform standards.
12. *Efficiently prepare fruits, juices, and other bar essentials. Ensure coolers are clean and well-organized with proper stock rotation.

13. *Provide wine service in accordance with club standards.

14. *Report maintenance issues to the Supervisor.

15. *Manage beer, keg, and wine transfers.

16. *Complete and tally all bar tickets, returning them to the closing supervisor.

17. *Request liquor requisitions at the end of shifts.

18. *Secure beer taps and cabinets upon closing.

19. *Notify supervisors of potential issues regarding drinking policies.

20. *Adhere to Club Bylaws and Rules.

21. *Report member feedback and any rule violations to supervisors.

22. *Perform additional tasks and projects as assigned.

PHYSICAL / MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

1. *Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds as needed.

2. *Climb 3-foot step stools when necessary.

3. *Occasional bending, reaching, and stretching.

4. *Ability to stand for extended periods.

5. *Manage loaded trays when required.

6. *Work effectively under pressure.

7. *Collaborate well in team environments.

8. *Must be at least 18 years of age.
