Position Overview:

Fidelity Investments is seeking a Senior Manager, Project Management to develop and improve a mid-tier database platform that supports the recordkeeping and administration of health benefits and savings accounts. Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with leadership to enable delivery through well-executed sprints.
  • Accelerate performance, efficiency, and value delivered by engaging across teams to find opportunities to improve agile maturity and metrics.
  • Maintain and update performance metrics and artifacts.
  • Coordinate logistics for and participate in Agile events, including backlog prioritization, sprint planning, daily meetings, retrospectives, and scrum of scrum masters.
  • Improve customer experiences on digital channels in an Agile environment.
  • Identify business requirements for projects of moderate scope.
  • Ensure project requirements are successfully incorporated into deployments.
  • Gather support and approvals from Legal, Risk, and Compliance business partners prior to launching developments.
  • Apply design and data analysis best practices to opportunity identification.
  • Develop innovative methods to optimize processes.
  • Prepare or review operational or project progress reports.
  • Plan and coordinate project schedules and assignments for multiple projects.
  • Assign and review the work of systems analysts, programmers, and other computer-related workers.
  • Mentor junior team members.
  • Advise senior management on technical strategy.
  • Establish and project manage analysis plans for multiple and complex work streams.
  • Elicit, capture, and interpret customer problems from multiple perspectives across projects or within a program.
  • Perform independent and complex analysis for multiple projects supporting several division initiatives.
  • Responsible for meeting project goals on-time and on-budget.
  • Presents implications and recommendations with a strategic perspective influencing project parameters and outcomes.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Applied Computer Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a closely related field, and five years of experience as a Senior Manager, Product Management (or closely related occupation) managing and executing large-scale projects in a FinTech or Health Benefits business area.

Or, alternatively, Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Applied Computer Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a closely related field, and three years of experience as a Senior Manager, Product Management (or closely related occupation) managing and executing large-scale projects in a FinTech or Health Benefits business area.

Skills and Knowledge:

Candidate must also possess:

  • Demonstrated expertise in managing and leading the execution of distributed application development teams in developing enterprise software solutions.
  • Demonstrated expertise in collaborating and performing delivery management in a Healthcare environment, using tools such as JIRA, JIRA Align, Share Point, and Confluence.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing end-to-end deployment and install processes to facilitate feature delivery and client Go Live.
  • Demonstrated expertise in leading fast-paced project delivery in Agile principles and processes.

Salary: $110,000.00 - $135,200.00/year.
