Job Title: Evening Lighting Technician / Repair & Logistics

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Evening Lighting Technician / Repair & Logistics to join our team at Dollywood Parks & Resorts. As a key member of our Entertainment Department, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining all aspects of outdoor theme park lighting and outdoor atmospheric sound systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and maintain outdoor theme park lighting and outdoor atmospheric sound systems
  • Manage the logistics and delivery of sets, equipment, tools, and essential consumables necessary for show readiness
  • Work with a high level of attention to detail and an unsurpassed level of excellence to ensure exemplary theme park entertainment
  • Collaborate with other technical team members to share knowledge and best practices
  • Provide technical support to all Dollywood Parks & Resorts venues as needed

Requirements:

  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • High School diploma required
  • Experience with entertainment and/or architectural lighting fixtures
  • Knowledge of installation, operation, and repair of modern moving-light fixtures
  • Experience in programming lighting control software and show control systems
  • Ability to operate a computer and be knowledgeable of general use programs
  • Must successfully complete a pre-employment offer background check and drug screening

Working Conditions:

  • Ability to work at heights up to and exceeding 90ft
  • Ability to endure approved exposure levels to various chemicals found in cleaning solvents, adhesives, paints, lubricants, atmospheric effects solutions, etc.
