Job Overview
The Dispensary Operations Manager will oversee all personnel and processes within the dispensary location.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing staff, inventory, and customer relations, while also monitoring financial objectives for the dispensary, among various other on-site responsibilities.

This position reports directly to the Director of Retail.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Recruit, manage, and cross-train team members across all relevant tasks.
2. Conduct annual performance evaluations for individual team members.
3. Achieve revenue targets through effective management practices, staff training, and customer engagement.
4. Collaborate with the Director of Retail to develop promotions, establish competitive pricing, and market in-house brands.
5. Oversee all in-store cash management: till setup, cash handling, and deposits.
6. Manage supply procurement for the dispensary: including paper products, office supplies, and replacement items.
7. Train staff comprehensively on all company protocols, products, and service philosophy to ensure an exceptional customer experience.

8. Foster customer relationships by being present on the sales floor, communicating promotions, and working with staff to enhance customer interactions in all situations.

Qualifications:
• In-depth knowledge of the cannabis sector, particularly regarding cash management, product knowledge, inventory processes, compliance, and audits.
• A minimum of 5 years in a managerial role within a specialized retail environment, overseeing one or more locations.
• Capability to pass all necessary background checks in accordance with Illinois cannabis regulations.
