Role Summary: We are looking for a proficient and knowledgeable Controls Technician to become a part of our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the installation, upkeep, and troubleshooting of control systems, ensuring operations are both efficient and safe.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and configure PLCs, SCADA systems, HMIs, sensors, and actuators.
  • Conduct regular maintenance and calibration of control systems.
  • Identify and rectify faults in control systems and related equipment.
  • Program and adjust control devices to enhance manufacturing processes.
  • Accurately document all maintenance and repair activities.
  • Adhere to safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Work collaboratively with engineers and production managers to integrate and enhance control systems.
  • Offer technical support and training to other personnel on control system operations.

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or technical certification in electronics, electrical engineering, or a related discipline; Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience with PLCs, SCADA, and HMIs in a manufacturing setting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and proficiency in documenting processes.
  • Effective communication skills.

Work Environment:

  • Primarily situated on the production floor, with potential for shift work and on-call responsibilities.
  • Physical requirements include prolonged standing, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces.
  • Safety equipment is mandatory.
