Production Specialist

Microchip Technology is seeking a skilled Production Specialist to join our team in a high-paced manufacturing environment. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in various finishing operations, including soldering, visual inspection, and applying coatings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Soldering using vapor phase machines, furnaces, and solder irons
- Visual inspection of solder joints using a microscope
- Applying RTV coat to diodes and using epoxies
- Meeting minimum quality and quantity standards
- Interacting with coworkers and management in a professional manner
Requirements:
- Ability to multitask and pay attention to detail
- Prior experience working in a team environment
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to follow written and verbal direction
- Ability to read and comprehend detailed work specifications
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience in a high-paced manufacturing environment
- High school diploma or equivalent education/experience
- Excellent visual capability and manual dexterity
- Experience using tweezers, vacuum pencils, and other small tools
