Microchip Technology is seeking a skilled Production Specialist to join our team in a high-paced manufacturing environment. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in various finishing operations, including soldering, visual inspection, and applying coatings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Soldering using vapor phase machines, furnaces, and solder irons
  • Visual inspection of solder joints using a microscope
  • Applying RTV coat to diodes and using epoxies
  • Meeting minimum quality and quantity standards
  • Interacting with coworkers and management in a professional manner

Requirements:

  • Ability to multitask and pay attention to detail
  • Prior experience working in a team environment
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to follow written and verbal direction
  • Ability to read and comprehend detailed work specifications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a high-paced manufacturing environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent education/experience
  • Excellent visual capability and manual dexterity
  • Experience using tweezers, vacuum pencils, and other small tools
