Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Director to join our team at Dungarvin. As a Program Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of our residential programs, supervising staff, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality support services to individuals with developmental disabilities or intellectual disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all aspects of assigned group homes, including budget management and staff supervision
  • Develop, maintain, and review individualized support plans (ISPs) and behavioral support plans (BSPs)
  • Partner with families, case managers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless support services
  • Manage household and individual budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources
  • Provide thorough on-site orientation to new staff and ongoing coaching and development
  • Complete employee evaluations, conduct investigations, and initiate disciplinary actions as needed
  • Schedule and lead team meetings, ensuring effective communication and collaboration
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of managerial/supervisory experience, including hiring, disciplining, and terminating employees
  • At least 1 year of full-time, direct experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or intellectual disabilities
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record and reliable vehicle with current auto liability insurance
  • Excellent decision-making, time management, and communication skills, with a strong ability to work independently and as part of a team
