Project Engineering Manager

Overview:
This role encompasses the management of all financial, commercial, contractual, and technical elements of the AES initiative.
The individual in this position will manage commercial components and provide technical guidance to various project teams, including engineering, purchasing, production, and field service.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop solutions to commercial challenges and assist in resolving technical issues.
- Utilize advanced knowledge and experience rather than relying solely on standard methods.
- Achieve project coordination by collaborating with design, contract, commercial, and production planning specialists.
- Exercise significant discretion in determining commercial objectives.
- Typically oversee the entire project lifecycle from Order Entry to the commissioning of the Advanced Electrical Services solution.
- Innovate and devise solutions for commercial or complex product challenges.
- Present ideas and recommendations to management regarding new applications and approaches, which are generally accepted in policy-making decisions.
- Ensure that the technical and commercial strategy is well understood across the manufacturing and engineering project teams.
- Coordinate project timelines with both the client and production control, and interface with the client on technical and commercial issues.
- Prepare cost estimates at various stages including booking, shipment, and startup completion.
- Monitor progress against the schedule in engineering, provisioning, and production operations.
- Review Customer Drawings and approve Operation/Maintenance Manuals.
Regularly inspect the progress of the Advanced Electrical Services solution on the shop floor to ensure compliance with specifications, promptly resolving issues, and meeting project milestones.
- Represent the client's interests regarding quality problem resolution.- Ensure timely project revenue recognition and profitability in alignment with the Company's financial plan.
- Engage with internal management as well as external clients and suppliers.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree with a minimum of 5 years' experience OR Bachelor's degree with at least 3 years' additional relevant experience.
- Master's degree or higher internships/project work will be considered towards the experience requirement, provided durations are listed on the resume.
Preferred experience in electric power/genset/backup power sectors, though other industry experience will be considered if commercial and business skills are evident.
Additional experience beyond 5 years will not be deemed as overqualification.Required Technical Skills:
- Proven knowledge of project and business management principles, methods, and techniques.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent projects involving cross-functional technical teams within budgetary and scheduling constraints.
- Experience in collaborating with various disciplines such as contractors, consultants, engineering, sales, purchasing, and commissioning agents.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365.
Required Soft Skills:
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and situations to ensure effective project order management and customer service.
- Proven skills and experience in mediation and negotiation.
- Strong verbal and written communication, as well as presentation skills.
- Experience in directing internal and client teams engaged in multiple activities.
- Ability to strategically and tactically organize and structure project execution activities.
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
Compensation:
The pay rate range mentioned is the base hourly pay range that Aditi Consulting reasonably expects to offer for this position. Compensation may vary based on various factors, including but not limited to a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, location, and client requirements.
