Senior Engineering Project Leader

Salary Range: $125,000.00 To $150,000.00 Annually

Position Overview:

Our team is in search of a Senior Engineering Project Leader to enhance our electrical power and control systems capabilities.

Required Experience:

Minimum of 8 years in project management within the engineering domain; experience with electrical power and control systems is highly desirable.

Essential Skills:

  • Experience in construction management and project controls is advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and Project.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance.
  • Ability to work autonomously while seeking guidance when necessary.
  • Fundamental understanding of sound engineering principles and practices.
  • Capacity to thrive in a dynamic environment with frequent priority shifts.

Educational Background:

A Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Civil Engineering is preferred. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is also favored.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee comprehensive project management tasks for multiple projects, from opportunity identification to project closeout.
  • Manage safety, quality, scope, budget, and scheduling aspects of projects.
  • Prepare new opportunity proposals, estimates, and relevant documentation.
  • Lead project initiation, execution, and closure using standardized company tools and processes, including job safety analysis, budget management, and client communications.
  • Collaborate with internal technical teams to ensure safe, timely, and quality execution of project scopes, including the development and review of technical deliverables.
  • Work with Division leadership to address resource constraints promptly.
  • Support the implementation of the company's Quality Management & Best Practices program in projects.
  • Assist in the rollout of the company's NFPA 70E Electrical Awareness & Training program within projects.
  • Manage client support inquiries, including after-hours calls, to ensure timely issue resolution.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time.
