Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a Cost Management team, ensuring they deliver on all accountabilities.
  • Interface with clients, stakeholders, and other consultants at all project stages.
  • Identify opportunities to improve cost management procedures, templates, and products.
  • Manage knowledge and data, ensuring key information is inputted into internal databases and shared.
  • Develop new business opportunities with existing and new Turner & Townsend clients.
  • Lead proposals for new work or variations for existing projects.
  • Attend networking events and other promotional opportunities.
  • Manage staff, including inputting into formal management and recruitment interviews.
  • Undertake staff performance reviews.
  • Manage financial aspects, including margin levels and monthly fee/resource forecasts.
  • Review and participate in the development of cost estimates.
  • Reconcile changes and ensure accurate data.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and participate in ISO audits.
  • Communicate with clients and stakeholders to gather status information.
  • Prepare written comments and coordinate cost information.
  • Provide estimate and cost planning, including producing and presenting the final cost plan.
  • Work proactively to resolve scheduling issues.
  • Manage cost checks and valuations.
  • Participate in post-contract cost variances and change control processes.
  • Manage cost impact and contingency management.
  • Prepare funding data presentations and coordinate value engineering sessions.
Job Objectives
  • Manage commissions to the right quality standards and complete them efficiently and on time.
  • Deliver service on commissions in line with the conditions of appointment.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients and cross-functional team members.
