We are seeking an experienced Injection Molding Operations Leader to oversee and enhance our plastic molding processes. This role is crucial for ensuring operational efficiency and maintaining high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Optimize and refine injection molding processes, including setup, testing, and implementation of new techniques to boost efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Ensure timely execution of production schedules to meet delivery commitments and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Continuously improve safety practices, production methodologies, equipment performance, and product quality.
- Lead a team of 4 supervisors and indirectly manage 80 production operators in a 24-hour operational environment.
In this position, you will address any challenges that arise during the molding process and collaborate with production teams to pinpoint areas for enhancement. You will also provide technical guidance and training to technicians on best practices while ensuring adherence to quality and safety regulations.
Qualifications- Proven experience in plastics engineering and operations management.
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in an injection molding environment.
- Comprehensive knowledge of plastics materials, tooling, equipment, and quality assurance.
- Familiarity with statistical analysis and techniques aimed at process improvement and operational cost reduction.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience working within a QMS/ISO 9001 quality management system.
Competitive salary range of $80,000 - $100,000.
