Core Responsibilities:

Clinical Responsibilities
  • Exceptional Patient Care: Deliver outstanding medical care to patients suffering from CNS and head & neck malignancies.
  • Advanced Treatment Modalities: Implement cutting-edge radiation treatment techniques (IMRT, SBRT, SRS, brachytherapy, intraoperative radiation) alongside innovative technologies such as Cyberknife and Gamma Knife.
  • Collaborative Teamwork: Participate in tumor boards and work closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.
Educational Contributions
  • Mentorship: Guide and mentor medical students, neurosurgery residents, and fellows, nurturing the future of the medical field.
  • Program Development: Create and enhance educational programs within the department, ensuring the dissemination of the latest knowledge and practices.
Research Initiatives
  • Research Leadership: Lead and engage in pioneering research projects, including those at the Ivy Brain Tumor Center.
  • Clinical Trials: Concentrate on phase 0/II clinical trials to expedite the discovery of novel treatments, directly benefiting patient care.
