Audit & Reimbursement Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Audit & Reimbursement Lead to join our team at Elevance Health. As a key member of our National Government Services division, you will play a critical role in supporting our Medicare Administrative Contract (MAC) with the federal government.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical leadership and supervision on contractual workload involving the Medicare cost report and Medicare Part A reimbursement.
- Review work of associates to ensure adherence to guidelines and provide training/mentoring in formal and informal settings.
- Monitor workload inventory to ensure timely completion and handle complex case research and resolutions.
- Assist management with workload and financial budget responsibilities and work with internal and external audits and performance measures.
- Analyze and interpret data with recommendations based on judgment and experience.
- BA/BS degree and a minimum of 8 years audit/reimbursement or related Medicare experience.
- Previous experience at a Senior Auditor level in healthcare, public accounting, or a government agency.
- Knowledge of CMS principles, law, and regulations, as well as experience with software used to file and finalize cost reports.
