Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented CT Imaging Technologist to join our team at 10 Monument Health Rapid City Hospital, Inc. As a CT Imaging Technologist, you will be responsible for operating CT scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Prepare and administer contrast media to patients, using aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques, and participate in ongoing education and training to improve skills and knowledge.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient information and imaging results.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Graduate of a radiology program or equivalent experience.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification with advanced certification in CT or completion of CT Registry within 12 months of hire.
  • 1+ year of customer service experience and 1+ year of radiographer experience preferred.
Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to lift, push, and pull equipment and supplies as needed. Possible exposure to radiation and frequent exposure to contaminated needles and infectious body substances.

Work Environment

This position requires the ability to work in a hospital setting and to interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals in a professional and respectful manner.
