Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team at Monument Health. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing CT examinations, utilizing a variety of technical aspects that require judgement, ingenuity, and initiative in applying ionizing radiation to obtain diagnostic images.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consistently demonstrates a thorough knowledge of patient positioning, principles of CT radiation exposure, quality control, image reconstruction, and specialized protocols.
  • Assists physicians in performing procedures and provides a learning environment.
  • Prepares and administers correct amounts of contrast, using aseptic techniques as outlined in the Infection Control manual.
  • Develops and maintains teamwork, demonstrates willingness to learn new procedures, and accepts additional responsibilities.
  • Ensures the procedure and related supplies are billed correctly and presents high-quality images to Radiologists.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma/GED Equivalent: General Studies, Graduate - Radiology Program.
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider Certification - American Heart Association (AHA); (ARRT)(R) (CT) American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification with advanced certification in Cat Scan or completion of CT Registry within 12 months of hire.
